Thanks for checking out my new blog/website.  Take a look over to the left hand column and you can read all about what this blog/site is going to be about.  Before the new year rolls around I want to clarify a few things.

  1.  I’m still carrying on my art lessons, selling my paintings, brushes, etc etc.  I’m still going to put out new lessons, new originals etc etc.  That stuff will not change.  I’m just trying to focus on taking my art to a new level in 2016.  That means new painting experiments, random guitar songs, photography, videos, sculpture, etc.
  2.   I’m not selling anything on this site, or promoting anything.  This space is for my art.  Sometimes I get caught up in running the business side of things that I forget about my art, or don’t have as much time for it.  So I created this site to make sure I focus on always getting better and trying new things.  Even though I won’t ever sell or link to anything I’m selling on this site, all that stuff will still be the same on my other site (see number 1).

So I’ll be taking this year to work on ideas I’ve had for years.  Work on new styles I’ve always wanted to try, and I’ll be posting my progress here.  Plus, like I said on the left hand side, I like to dabble in a lot of artistic things.  I’ll be posting different things like guitar songs, poems, short stories, drawings, photos, videos etc.  It’s going to be a big mishmash of everything.  I’m an artist through and through and I’m just going to use this page to express that.

Thanks for coming along for the ride.  I hope you enjoy my struggles and successes.  You’ll probably get to know me a whole lot better by reading this blog.  Beware the random rants.  I’m putting it all on the table here.  🙂 I’m going to try to post daily (but I am an artist so I’m sure I’ll miss a few days).

2016 is going to be the art year for me.

  1. I hope your year brings you what you are looking for! You do wonderful paintings and look forward to whatever you bring us. 🙂

  2. The day you no longer evolve is when you are dead. Can’t wait to see where this new road you are travelling on will bring you. Like they say the destination is not important, it is the fun you will have along the way.

  3. Great idea! I look forward to following you. I too feel the need to experiment with new ways of thinking and painting, hopefully to reach a “breakthrough” to a new realm of painting that I feel is coming but can’t yet articulate. Following your progress will surely help me. Thanks for doing this.

  4. Ce sera un grand plaisir de vous suivre, Tim, dans tous les domaines artistiques que vous explorerez. Je vous souhaite une merveilleuse année “artistique”!

  5. Live how you love and love what you do. Your adventure can only bring rewards both mentally and educationally. Can’t think of a better way to be happy. Enjoy your journey.

  6. Love verturing out into new places where your art can be demonstrated. I am looking forward to this coming year to also see where I can grow and learn my art – be blessed and have fun !

  7. Very nice idea, I´m looking forward to read your posts and keep learning. Thank you Tim, I wish you a great 2016 to you and your family!

  8. I am also an artist through and through. Writing, poetry and lately lots of music writing, as well as painting and jewelry making, so I get the creative heart. It’s a place to live, the way we see and feel the world around us, not necessarily just what we do. I think this new blog is going to be a good thing and I look forward to hearing more, seeing more, learning more and being inspired more. Thanks for living this part of who you are, out loud. It’s nice to know there are others like you hangin’ out somewhere 🙂

  9. …l so welcome and look forward , not only to Tim’s blog, but to all the comments from fellow artists. HAPPIEST, HEALTHIEST, MOST JOYFUL & PROSPEROUS 2 ALL OF U
