So for those of you who read yesterday’s post, you know I had a commission I had to finish before I left for Nashville. I had the painting almost done and realized I was doing the wrong painting. That left me with today to finish it. I couldn’t do the late night thing. Just wasn’t feeling it, and in order for the painting to turn out how I want it I need to be in the mood to paint. I decided to do a mad rush and do it all today. It took me about 5 hours but I got it done!
I also received a ditto pedal in the mail. It’s a little pedal that I use for my guitar. It allows me to record individual guitar parts and loop them to make it sound like a lot of guitars are playing. It’s a lot of fun! So I made up a song today for you guys so I could practice using the pedal. I included some of my mess ups in the video too because I really didn’t know what I was doing. Enjoy!
I love being an artist!

Very cool! You are a man of many talents! Loved it. I too can not paint if I’m not in the mood or feeling it. I suppose all artists are to a certain extent.

Love your lavender trees painting. Your guitar presentation, using your new looping pedal, was great as well. Wishing you great success in 2016 with both of your endeavors.

Lovely painting! Are you kidding me…you compose music also! Now let’s hear some lyrics for it. Sounds like a contest (?) Singers like , Ed Sheeran love using this pedal. Don’t forget to copyright your music. I am looking forward to meeting you when you come to Dayton!

Nice to see you and doing so much. My husband, Dave, has just picked up his guitar after many years, so we enjoyed your videos together. Have fun in Music City!

Congrats on the deadline painting! One commitment down, three dozen to go.;-) I just bought an effects pedal myself with looping function to use playing a Native American flute. Enjoyed the guitar video. I have found playing music to be a release from the stress of painting. Good luck with your workshops, and even with 50-60 degree temps, most people will want to paint indoors. lol
